As one who is part of the City of Melville landscape, due to living, & owning a business – DE LUCCA INTERNATIONAL – within its boundaries, I have decided to create this website, to offer a platform for the people within the City of Melville to share information, on what they are involved with, about what matters to them, along with matters regarding to the City of Melville itself!
Just my way of making a small contribution in bringing the City of Melville community closer together!
This is a website for persons who live, wishing to ask questions, share local information and stay connected with each other.
It is about issues you believe should be heard, ideas you think people would benefit from, or an inspirational project you would like to see happen inside this council’s boundary!
It is a place to bring attention to someone, something that you think deserves positive recognition along with so many people out there with so much talent, let’s see, & hear about, your achievements!
Giving recommendations regarding an association, government outlet, business etc is encouraged!
Also, this is a space for those who wish to do a general promotion of their club, association, and charity within the City of Melville!

Petrina’s life has been entrenched in the professional performing arts industry for nearly five decades. Her remarkable journey has taken her from professional performer to one of Western Australia's leading independent performance producers, now bringing joy to audiences across Australia and beyond through quality concerts and musical productions.
de Lucca International represents the evolution of Petrina's artistic vision, founded on decades of proven success in performance, production, and promotion. We create unforgettable musical experiences that blend technical excellence with pure emotional expression, delivering performances that truly touch the soul.
The Producer's Vision
From 2022, Petrina expanded her artistic vision by launching the Composer's Concert Series, which brought sold-out, standing ovation professional performances to prestigious venues:
Anything Goes with Cole Porter & The Music of the Night with Lloyd Webber at the Arts & Culture Trust: Downstairs at the Maj, presented on two different occasions, as intimate performances, with two professional performers with grand piano.
An Enchanted Evening with Rodgers & Hammerstein at the Quarry Amphitheatre for three nights, featuring two leading ladies, two leading men, pianist on grand piano, the Dolce String Quartet, 50-person chorus, & the von Trapp children
The Music of the Night with Lloyd Webber on a grander scale at the State Theatre Centre of WA: Heath Ledger Theatre for two nights, featuring three professional performers, a 25-piece orchestra, the WASO Chorus, & one incredible Boy Soprano

A Legacy Reborn
In 2024, following the passing of her beloved mother in August, Petrina took time for reflection. This profound moment led to the decision to rename AKANNA Entertainment—which had served her so well since 2006—to de Lucca International, honouring her mother's French-Italian ancestry from Lucca, Tuscany. This transformation represents not just a tribute to her mother's influence on her musical journey, but also a fresh start and new beginning that honors both family heritage and artistic evolution.
Heritage and Heart
The de Lucca story begins in the rolling hills of Lucca, Italy, where music flowed through our family, with the bloodline going back three centuries.
Petrina’s grandfather, Alfredo de Lucca, carried forward this extraordinary musical bloodline, bringing it to Australia sharing the operatic traditions with his children & then grandchildren.
Those golden childhood moments—nestled on Papa's lap as he called out "Petra! Petra!" with pride, surrounded by family gatherings filled with homemade olive oil, wine, and music around the old piano—became the heartbeat of everything de Lucca International represents today.
Looking Forward
After a year of creative development in 2025, Petrina is preparing to return to the stage in 2026 with renewed vision and purpose. de Lucca International represents the culmination of nearly five decades of artistic excellence, ready to create new magical moments for audiences across Australia and beyond.
